Awesome LEGO builds you see every now and then, but if there was an ultimate prize to be awarded, this one by Rich-K & Big J would definitely win it. Created in 2013, the work continues to gain popularity as one of the most inspiring pop culture recreations of all time!
Around 150,000 LEGO bricks and 1,700 minifigures were used to recreate one of the most epic scenes in film history: the Battle of Helm’s Deep, as seen in the second part of the Descendants trilogy. Peter Jackson’s Rings, The Two Towers (2002). As the My Modern Met website reported at the time, it took the duo about four months to build the creation, which was the size of a ping-pong table and weighed more than 72 kilograms!
Here are some photos to blow your mind. Look closely and you’ll notice lots of intricate details, from catapults, ladders, tower walls, and of course the characters on the war footing. We will delight you.
All photos of the project have been found here.

We almost believe it.
You can watch the entire Lord of the Rings saga on Amazon Prime Video.
