Company will continue alongside the category until 2026
MSC Cruises announced this weekend that it has extended its partnership agreement with Formula 1 until the end of the 2026 championship. As part of the deal, the company will bring some of its ships to specific race weekends for special action of hospitality.
The first of these initiatives will be with MSC Virtuosa and will take place in the last leg of the 2023 season, in Abu Dhabi.
Exclusive accommodation and transportation packages will be offered to general fans and VIP guests. This initial partnership will be expanded with other vessels throughout the 2024 season and beyond.
Furthermore, the brand will be the official sponsor of the 2023 Belgian Grand Prix and will carry out marketing actions in the fan areas. More formal sponsorships for next year are yet to be announced.

For his part, F1 chief executive and president Stefano Domenicali stressed that he was “excited to extend our partnership because both brands share a commitment to innovation and excellence”. “This partnership has brought outstanding results and we look forward to further enhancing our relationship. Together we will continue to push the boundaries and set new benchmarks in sport and hospitality,” he added.
