The Milan Fair brings together 2,500 brands in the sector
The export of Italian agri-food products amounted to 61 billion euros in 2022, with a 17% growth compared to the previous year.
The numbers were disclosed on the occasion of the Tuttofood fair, which takes place from 8 to 11 May in Milan.
The event brings together around 2,500 brands, of which around 20% are foreign, from 46 countries, with particular attention to Spain, Greece, the Netherlands, Romania and Germany.
Approximately 800 buyers from 86 countries selected by Fiera Milano and ICE Agency, the government agency for export promotion, are expected at the fair.
The largest delegations come from the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, China, Australia, India and France.
