Born in Nigeria in 1975 to diplomat parents, Chukwudi was sent to a boarding school in England at the age of 12. He then attended Yale University in the United States and received a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1997. At the same time, he followed a theater training program at the University of Milwaukee. He then returned to the UK to pursue a career on the boards.
Chukwudi Iwuji joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2001, which allowed him to perform in many productions at prestigious venues in London. Among them we can mention Julius Caesar, Hamlet, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Antony and Cleopatra, King Lear, low road, The Playboy of the Western World, Tamburlaine, a misanthrope or Hedda Gabler.

Aliens, Crossing Lines and Madam Secretary. In cinema, he can be seen in the films Exam, Bikini Moon, John Wick 2 and the Netflix western The Mission with Tom Hanks.
Gradually, his roles gained importance, as evidenced by his performances in “Designated Survivor”, “Pacemaker” and especially in episodes of The Split, a legal series in which he plays a regular character. In 2023, the actor joined the MCU as the villain of Guardians of the Galaxy 3 (he finds James Gunn, creator of the DC Peacemaker series, for the occasion).
