Fourteen years after the last episode, the series The Wire is still remembered. Its creator, David Simon, is reuniting with HBO and coming back with a new project, We Own This City, with a six-part book adaptation. The city belongs to usWritten by journalist Justin Fenton.
The program focuses on the Baltimore Police Department’s Gun Trace Task Force and reveals the true story of corruption, error, and racketeering scandals in organized gangs. The impact of the case highlights the many dysfunctions that reign in the heart of the American police world.

David Simon is collaborating for the fourth time with writer George Pelekano, who specializes in detective novels. The first images find the same intensity as the creator’s previous works TheWire And even reminds you of another hit series, Shield.
