Manchester City forward Erling Haaland’s father, Alfie Haaland, said he was removed from his seat inside the Santiago Bernabéu stadium on Tuesday after apparently provoking Real Madrid fans following the England side’s equalizing goal in the semi-final of Champions League.
Videos on social media show Alfie, who once played for Manchester City, tending his ears to Real fans following Kevin de Bruyne’s 1-1 draw.
The security guards are then seen removing him from his seat.
“OK. RM wasn’t happy we were celebrating the KDB goal,” Alfie, whose son scored 51 goals for City in his first season in England, said on Twitter. “Apart from that, we had to move because the RM fans weren’t happy with the 1-1.”
Vinícius Junior had put the home side ahead in the first half, but De Bruyne’s late goal made City slight favorites for the second leg and qualification for the final of the tournament in Istanbul.
The classified team will play against either Inter Milan or Inter Milan in the decision.
