The influence of which we find traces in these first images, with a Gothic desire that also recalls the cinematography of Guillermo del Toro (who is currently working on a real adaptation of Frankenstein), Terry Gilliam or Tarsem Singh. with a haunting atmosphere worthy of Yorgos Lanthimos’ previous opus.
Four years after La Favorite, the director and the actor are in the past, but there will be much more to the supernatural. And the cast is even more impressive, as Willem Dafoe, Mark Ruffalo, Margaret Cowell and Christopher Abbott will surround the actress with the aesthetic shock of autumn.
