After Chloe (Ingrid Chauvin) was found injured and amnesiac down the road, Enzo was on all the questions that belong to us tomorrow. And it’s clearly not going to improve in the next episodes of the TF1 soap opera.
In this Friday, May 12 episode on TF1, Damien indeed finds DNA samples on Bernard Lute’s shirt that appear to match Diego’s DNA. Did the teenager deceive everyone who came into Delcourt’s life? Did he arrange the murder of his own father? More Machiavellian than one might think?
Enzo Rose, who joined Tomorrow belongs to us at the end of April in the role of the mysterious Diego, confided in our microphone about this new adventure, his working relationship and his very strong bond with Ingrid Chauvin and future events that may doubt his character more than ever. Until he finally realizes the secret of his memories and past?
What did you like about the character of Diego and the adventure Tomorrow Belongs to Us?
Enzo Rose : I liked Diego’s personal story, his novelty, spontaneity. He’s charming, a bit like me in that way. And the idea of joining a series like Tomorrow Belongs to Us obviously appealed to me. It’s a real experience, a real discovery, with lots of great encounters.
Was it easy for you to integrate into the Big Tomorrow family?
I don’t know if I’m really integrated because Diego just arrived and we don’t know if he’s going to stay in Sete. But anyway everything is going well, I feel good that Tomorrow belongs to us. I’m very lucky, Ingrid Chauvin, Alexandre Brasser and Alice Varela are great partners.
Ingrid Chauvin, who you knew a little bit after you met on the set of Josephine, Guardian Angel last year, right?
Absolutely, we crossed paths on Josephine, Guardian Angel. I was a supporting character in an episode with Ingrid, but we never had scenes together on that show. Finally, there was a somewhat choral scene with Mimi Matty, but that’s about it. And we had the opportunity to change a little between the two scenes, while eating. But the meeting with Ingrid really belongs to us tomorrow.
When we met, Ingrid looked at me and said, “But we both know each other, don’t we?” (laughs). We talked a little more about Josephine and got to know each other. And I can say that Ingrid is a really great person. This goes for all my partners, but I have a special connection with Ingrid. Of course, because Diego, my character, is a bit like Chloe’s “new son”. And it must be said that it is going great on the set. I’m lucky to be part of the Delcourt family, it’s really great.
You’ve played in Un Si Grand Soleil before, did that help you adjust to the rhythm of the big rig shooting that Tomorrow has?
Sure, I was able to get a glimpse of what it would be like to be on Un Si Grand Soleil, but there, Tomorrow Belongs to Us, it’s on another level. Simply because the role is much more important. I am really learning in this field, I find as I follow it, it is a very formative experience.
In this Friday’s episode on TF1, the police’s suspicions will be on Diego, as the DNA of a family member of Bernard Lute is found on the latter’s body. Will Chloe begin to doubt Diego’s innocence?
This is a possibility, of course. There are many doubts surrounding Diego. Its arrival is very doubtful, we really don’t know where it comes from. It is indeed shrouded in mystery. We don’t know if we should refer to it or not. In any case, only one person does: Chloe, played by Ingrid.
The police also wonder if Diego really has amnesia or if he’s been lying to them all along. Should we doubt your character?
Of course. Diego has amnesia, but he carries many secrets behind him. We don’t know if he takes people for fools or if he is innocent. So yes, in the next episodes the police will stop treating her as innocent or a victim and start looking at her rather than around her.
Could the culprit behind Bernard’s murder not be from Diego’s family, which we haven’t seen yet in the series? For example, a hidden brother?
It is possible. As if it could be something else (laughs). There can be many twists and turns in this DNA story. The culprit could be a brother or someone else. All we know is that the DNA found on Bernard Luth’s body is from someone in his family. Diego or someone else, of course.

A woman from Diego’s past will reappear in his life early next week. how about that
This woman’s name is Sandra. She is a friend of Diego’s parents, someone from his past that he doesn’t remember. All I can say about Sandra is that she is Diego’s key. This is the key that opens one of the doors of this mystery.
Does this mean that the solution to this plot is hidden in Diego’s memories? And that he’s potentially going to regain his memory by next Friday and the end of the ark?
Absolutely, the key to all of this is hidden in Diego’s memories. But for the rest, you’ll have to be in front of the TV next week at 7.10pm.
Do you think the audience will be surprised by the conclusion of this story?
I’ve noticed in the comments that our true Tomorrow fans have gone into investigative mode. It’s fun to witness the passion of the audience. I hope there will be surprises. I don’t think everyone expected this ending.
There is no doubt that there are many possibilities, with this DNA story, with the arrival of Sandra, the doors that remain open in Diego’s memory. The ending is surprising to me. But I’m not sure exactly what the audience guessed or didn’t at this point.
Is there a scene from this arch that was more difficult to film or sticks in the memory?
We sometimes shoot with the baby, little Celeste. And it’s not always easy in terms of concentration. It is difficult to push a child to the center of attention. There were difficult sections with Celeste (laughs). It can cause laughter, but sometimes we don’t really know what to do, we improvise, it’s not always easy.
What are your future projects outside of Tomorrow Belongs to Us?
I starred in two detective series that will soon be broadcast on France Télévisions: an episode of Prière d’Enquête with Sabrina Ouazand and Mathieu Spino, which should be broadcast this summer, and Les Pennac, which should be released a little later. And otherwise, for the moment, I’m pretty much focused on tomorrow. It’s my first big TV experience, it’s a lot of work, but I love it, the atmosphere is great.
