Zombies! in New York! This is the starting point of Dead City, the official sequel to The Walking Dead, where Maggie and Negan team up to infiltrate Manhattan on the trail of Herschel, who has been kidnapped by an old acquaintance of the former leader of the Saviors clan!
The relationship between the latter and Maggie gave rise to one of the main intrigues of the last seasons of the horror program. Never having forgiven Negan for killing her husband Glenn (with countless atrocities committed by him), the young woman still agreed to fight alongside the repentant villain.
In this new adventure, this unlikely duo will encounter a group of survivors, notably Jonathan Higginbotham in an ersatz role of Vin Diesel, but also a new villain connected to Negan’s past, played by Zeljko Ivanek (an iconic face. On the small screen, notably appearing in the first season of 24 Hour Chrono).
Keep in mind that two other Walking Dead spin-offs will see the light of day in the coming months. Daryl Dixon with Norman Reedus, so the action will take place in France, but also the mini-series Rick and Michonne, which will replace the film project originally developed by Rick Grimes!
