After Alice (Maëlle Mietton), Arthur (Auguste Yvon) or recently Inès (Maéva El Aroussi), the faithful of Un si grand soleil are preparing to say goodbye to another historical figure in France 2’s daily soap opera.

In tonight’s episode, Sofia (Marie-Clotilda Ramos-Ibáñez) decides to leave Montpellier and settle in Uzès, where she takes over a tea room bookstore.

Indeed, the young mother needs a step back, but above all, a change of air to move forward after her breakup with Elise (Malia Roman). The latter also agreed that their daughter Charlie would follow Sofia to Gard. Elise now sees her daughter every other weekend, as well as part of the holidays.

While this choice is sure to upset the policewoman, it also marks the eventual departure from the series of Sofia’s interpreter, Marie-Clotilda Ramos-Ibáñez.

“Maëlle Mietton is no longer working on the series. The same is true of Marie-Clotilda Ramos-Ibanez” he explained last March. Adding: “Maybe one day there will be a comeback. We don’t want to preserve the characters without giving the actors something powerful“.
