After Marvel, Jude Law in a new Star Wars series

A few days after the announcement by Disney +, the new Star Wars series (Spider-Man No Way Home) created by John Watts is already revealing its official name: Skeleton Crew. The play, announced as the first series for teens to receive a license, will be performed shortly after the return of the Jedi, with a story that combines space adventures and 80s teen films.

But that’s not all, because after last night’s Star Wars celebration, it was announced that Jude Law would join the cast of the series; The 49-year-old English actor, who recently starred in the film Captain Marvel, will play an obscure role that could suggest he will either be a mentor to teenage characters, or an antagonist.

Developed by John Watts and screenwriter Chris Ford, Skeleton Crew will also be produced by Dave Fillon and John Favreau, two masters of the Star Wars television expansion universe. Filming for the series has not started, so it is unlikely that this new product will be released by the second half of 2023 at best.
