Globo defined the broadcast team for the match between Fluminense and Flamengo, in the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil. The broadcaster, which broadcasts the match through Sportv on Tuesday, chose narrator Luiz Carlos Jr, and commentators Lédio Carmona and Pedrinho.
Subscribers to Claro, Sky and the “Globoplay + Canals Ao Vivo” package will have the opportunity to watch the duel with ultra HD quality picture and sound on sportv 4K. Premiere also shows the whole Brazil match, starting at 21:00, at the Maracanã.
In the last duel between the sides, Fluminense beat Flamengo 4-1 to win the Carioca Championship, after Rubro-Negro had won the first leg 2-0 on 1 June.
The two clubs experience different phases of the season. While Rio de Janeiro champion Fluminense starts well in the Brasileirão and Libertadores under Fernando Diniz, the Rubro-Negro is erratic and has yet to score under the command of Argentine Jorge Sampaoli.
