Filming will begin in October.
Idris Elba has a busy schedule and the actor’s next job is already coming off the drawing board. According to Dealine, the star’s new film will be called Infernus, an action production that he will also direct.
Acting in front of and behind the camera, Elba will play a character named Donovan Kamara, a United Nations activist who delves into a cruel underworld of refugees held in an illegal prison in the United States, but embarks on an intense journey when some prisoners end up escaping.
With scenes to be shot in Ghana, England and London, shooting is only expected to start in October this year, but the film promises to be another blockbuster in the actor’s career.
Recently, Idris Elba returned to his iconic role of Luther in a Netflix production and has been among the most watched productions on the platform for weeks.
