Ricos de Amor was a successful national production on Netflix and will continue. To cheer up the subscribers who wanted to know how the love story of Paula and Teto unfolded, the platform decided to publish the release date and the official trailer of the second film.
According to the official synopsis, in the new production, the couple Paula (Giovanna Lancellotti) and Teto (Danilo Mesquita) face difficulties and will have to learn to deal with the turmoil along the way. Paula follows her dreams and resumes her work as a volunteer doctor, embarking on another mission with an indigenous community in the Amazon. Teto, on the other hand, tries to convince his partners to found his tomato cooperative in a village in the region, but to save the company from bankruptcy and win back Paula’s heart, he absolutely has to overcome his spoiled playboy habits and face the interests of a powerful farmer.
With a premiere scheduled for June 2, the film again features Alok in the soundtrack, this time bringing new songs in collaboration with indigenous artists, as well as Jão’s participation in the film’s soundtrack.
