Chris Tucker has dropped Prince’s role in “The Fifth Element”
Prince refused to participate in The fifth Element (1997), cult film starring Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman It is Milla Jovovich. Chris Tuckerwho ended up with the role intended for the pop icon previously, revealed the reason for the negative response.
On the television show The View, Tucker revealed that he found Prince in a ballad in Los Angeles, United States. “He said, ‘You played that part in The fifth Element. I should have played that role.’ I replied, ‘Really?’ He said, ‘Well, I didn’t like the costumes.’ I looked at him and said: ‘But you walked with your ass out!’ He replied, ‘But that’s my design, my design.'”
As pointed out by NMEthe role launched the career of Tuckerwho starred Rush hour (1998) along with Jackie Chanposteriorly.
Second Lucasbessondirector of the feature, Prince found his costume “too feminine” and felt insulted by the designer Jean Paul Gaultier when hearing “fuck you”, from English, “vai se f*der”, instead of “faux cul”, from French, “fake ass” – a term he used to describe the costume.
