Amber Heard declares feeling “humiliated and harassed” before the jury and acknowledges receiving death threats

The crossing of accusations continues in the dispute between Johnny Depp and the ‘Aquaman’ actress in court.

A few hours after Johnny Depp and the ‘Aquaman’ actress make their final arguments (which will give rise to the deliberation of the jury, which is estimated to last until next week), Amber Heard has taken the floor and in a new and never final chapter has declared feeling “humiliated and harassed” before the jury and, perhaps the most serious, claims to have received “thousands of threats” since the litigation began.

In this way, heard has spoken this morning to reflect about what this experience is assuming in his life: “It has been agonizing”, he has affirmed. “It is humiliating for any human being to go through this. It may be easy to forget, but I am a human being. Even though Johnny promised that he deserved this for me, and that he would do it, I don’t deserve this.”

After this, the most significant part has been the one in which he has recognized being the object of constant threats: “People want to kill me and they tell me every day”Y acknowledged being the subject of an aggressive campaign on social media which makes him suffer “panic attacks, nightmares and traumas”.

The actress also took the opportunity to recriminate the attitude of her husband throughout the process: “I am not sitting in this room laughing and smiling and making sarcastic jokes.”. “This is horrible,” he claimed.. In a way, the body language and attitude of both -an always relaxed Depp against a nervous Heard- has been one of the contrasts that has attracted the most attention since they first faced each other.

Heard has continued with this introspection in which she has added not to feel like a saint or try to present herself as such, to end by remembering her rights: “I have the right, as an American, to talk about what happened to me, to be the owner of my history and of my truth,” he said. “I hope to get my voice back. That’s all I want.”

A day before, it was Depp the one who spoke about it, an opportunity he took advantage of to categorically deny Heard’s accusations and to reaffirm his honesty “No matter what happens, I came here and told the truth.” “No human being is perfect, of course not, but I have never committed sexual assault or physical abuse in my life,” Depp added.

Also this week the supermodel (and former partner of the interpreter of ‘Black Mass: Strictly criminal’) Kate Moss participated via videoconference to testify in relation to Amber Heard’s accusations that he had thrown her down the stairs during their relationship in the 90s. Something that, as expected when called by the actor himself, he flatly denied.
