Unicamp 2024: the deadlines for requesting exemption from the fee are now open

Comvest Will Offer More Than 6,000 Waiver Applications; know who is entitled to the benefit

From this Monday (15th) students who intend to take the university entrance exam Unicamp 2024 (State University of Campinas) can request an exemption from the exam registration fee. Questions must be made on the Comvest website (Unicamp Permanent Commission for Vestibularies) until June 5th.

The request will be valid both for the Unicamp entrance exam and for the modality Enem-Unicamp 2024. The prerequisite for receiving the exemption, in all modalities, is to have finished high school or to have finished it in 2023.

The list of recipients of the exemption will be announced during the day July 28th. From this date, beneficiaries will receive a declaration by email that they have benefited.

Who is entitled to exemption

The exemption is offered in four ways:

1- for applicants from low-income families (up to one and a half minimum wages per household) from public schools;

two- Unicamp/Funcamp employees;

3- for those enrolling in some evening degree or technology courses (degrees in: Biological Sciences, Physics, Letters, Integrated Degree in Chemistry/Physics, Mathematics and Pedagogy. Technologies in: Analysis and Development of Systems and in Environmental Sanitation);

4- for scholarship applicants from private/private schools.

Comvest offers 6,680 Level 1 waivers, unlimited Level 2 and 3 waivers, and 150 Level 4 waivers.

Students will be able to consult the necessary documentation in each modality in the announcement (which will be published shortly on the Institution’s website). Documents must be scanned and submitted within the registration period, without fail.

The commission also reiterates that those contemplated are not automatically enrolled in the Vestibular Unicamp 2024 and Enem-Unicamp 2024. Subsequently, the registration must be carried out by entering the exemption code provided by Comvest.

Request for fee waiver: From May 15th to June 5th

Registrations: from July 31st to August 31st

Enem-Unicamp mode registration: in November

First stage: 29 October

Second level: December 3-4

Test of specific skills (Music): from September to October 2023

Specific skills test (other courses): From 7 to 9 December 2023
