Payment of the fourth batch of salary allowance PIS/Pasep for the 2021 base year will start on Monday 15. The Ministry of Labor and Employment will pay 4.4 million workers, with an investment of around R$ 4.4 billion in resources from the Amparo al Worker Fund.
The lot is intended for private sector employees born in July and August and civil servants with Pasep numbers ending in 4 and 5.
Private sector workers receive at least Social Integration Program (PIS)payed by Federal Economic Caixaand civil servants, Public Employee Asset Training Program (Pasep)payed by Bank of Brazil.
Depending on the number of months worked in 2021, the value of the benefit varies from R$ 110 to R$ 1,320, due to the change in the minimum wage on May 1st.
Who is entitled to salary allowance?
Workers who have been registered with the PIS/Pasep for at least five years and who have received, on average, from employers who contribute to the programmes, up to two months’ minimum wage during the period of employment, are entitled to wage allowance. It is also necessary that the data for 2021 have been communicated by the employer in the Annual List of Social Information (Rais) or in e-Social.

Payments are divided into six bands, based on the month of birth, in the case of the PIS, and on the final registration number, in the case of the Pasep. The money will be deposited on the release dates of the lots and can be withdrawn until 28 December 2023. After this deadline it will be necessary to wait for a special summons from the Ministry of Labour. See the calendar below.
