Les Randonneuses: In which region was the new TF1 series filmed?

After airing the third and final season we promise every Monday night, TF1 offers tonight a brand new series, Les Randonneuses, hosted by Clémentine Cellarie, Alix Poisson, Camille Chameau, Claire Bichler, Josephine de Mey and Tifain Davio. It will easily establish itself as one of the television events of the spring.

This six-episode mini-series tells the story of Sarah, Noemi, Patty, Karen, Valerie and Morgan, very different “chemo friends” who decide to go on a hike to attack. Dome de la Lauze, a nearly 4,000-meter peak, to fulfill a promise to Eva (Elsa Lunghini), a friend who recently died of cancer.

A very powerful series that manages to deal with cancer with a real precision of tone, between emotion and humor, and that owes a lot to the six actresses who play the roles of women directly or indirectly affected by the disease. But also with great scenery for the audience to admire the episodes and this crazy ascent.

Vanoise National Park as the main natural environment

Directed by Frédéric Berthe (For Sarah, The Man in Our Lives), Les Randoneuses is set in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Savoie-et-Isère, from May 30, 2022. For many weeks, TF1 series teams. Thus they set up their cameras in Vanoise National Park, Savoie and in particular in the resort of Val-Cenis.

“This is a series that required many locations”explains Fanny Rydberger, producer and co-creator of Les Randonneuses. “What was difficult is that we wanted to shoot in the summer, good lighting. And at the same time we needed snow, because when you get to the top, it’s a bit disappointing if you find everything”.

Alix Poisson, Clementine Sellary, Claire Büyler, Camille Chameau, Tifain Daviot and Josephine de Meo began shooting the most difficult part of the series, shooting scenes at 4,000 meters above sea level so that we could enjoy the necessary snow cover. For the final episode script.

“They started at the top of the mountain, with a lack of oxygen, eggs to get there. And this storm that came was not expected”Fanny Rydberger continues, to whom we also owe the Lycée Toulouse-Lautrec series.

“They got off to a rough start. And then we came down to shoot the rest of the series in different locations. I don’t remember all the names, but basically we had five chalets that were landmarks for us. Five chalets that were five important filming locations for this adventure.”.
