It’s likely to come back better this year, as Amazon Games just announced a deal Middle Earth Enterprises New AAA game development and publishing Lord of the Rings on PC and consoles.
Without a specific title, this game will also be massively multiplayer (in MMORPG jargon), offering players the chance to rediscover The Hobbit and the original Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Amazon Games Studio, located in Orange, California, which is already working on the MMORPG New World, will develop the game. Note also that this upcoming title based on the Lord of the Rings license is also being developed in partnership with Embracer Group, who bought it. Crystal Dynamics studio.
