Instituto Não Accepted Corruption repudiates the approval of the PEC in the CCJ of the Chamber which eliminates fines and punishments for the correct use of public resources

In a public statement released on the morning of this Wednesday 17, the Instituto Não Accept Corruption repudiated and defined as inadmissible the decision of the Constitution and Justice Commission of the Chamber which approved, with 45 votes against 10, the Proposal to Amend the Constitution 9/ 23, which grants the extraordinary amnesty for the sanctions inflicted on political parties in the application of public resources. CCJ seals first phase of House process; The text has had widespread support from parliamentarians of different parties, from the PT of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to the PL of former President Jair Bolsonaro.

In the institution’s definition, the PEC is unconstitutional. “As if a herd of fifteen elephants would go through a needle head or the repeal of the law of gravity, the amnesty is legally teratological, it rips up the Constitution, it slaps the people, it tramples on the democratic rule of law and it shouldn’t even be amnesty, but the CCJ of the House approves it, and many of those who approve the amnesty today in the past approved the rules that generate the now remedied obligations”, says the text, which also highlights the “affront” to the “rules of protection women, blacks, transparency dictates, fair funding in politics and obedience to the legal system”.

The institute “invites” the other parliamentary bodies to veto the progress of the proposal and intends to mobilize society to embarrass the deputies.
