In the opening minutes of the K-drama, we are introduced to the character of Sa Hye-jun (Park Bo-gum), a young model struggling to make it on the runways and in movie studios. Fans and all the media see him as a successful celebrity with a stable career, but what they don’t know is that Hye-jun works multiple jobs at once to pay her bills because the manager of the agency she works for doesn’t pay her. as she should.
In this way, the family members who share the house with him fill him with criticism on how an adult man shouldn’t waste time with a “career that doesn’t take off” and that he has to find a steady job with a good salary to take on plus bills at home. Modeling and entering the cinema are the dreams of Hye-jun, who has been fighting for the recognition he deserves for years, but sees his notoriety in the sector increasingly declining.
