Borussia Dortmund beat Augsburg to top the Bundesliga

Borussia Dortmund dominated Augsburg in every respect in the first half, mainly in finishing and creating chances. The disparity was even greater after defender Felix Uduokhai was sent off in the 38th minute. Even so, the away team failed to clear the scoreboard after a busy 45 minutes on the pitch.

With the numerical advantage in their favour, Dortmund eventually scored. In the 13th minute of the final tournament, Sébastien Haller finally opened the scoring for the away team. With an even stronger dominance than in the first half, Borussia Dortmund reached their second goal in the 39th minute and again with striker Haller.

Before the final whistle, 48-year-old Julian Brandt closed his account for Borussia Dortmund and scored the team’s third goal.

Earlier this Sunday, again for the Bundesliga, Stuttgart beat Mainz 05 4-1, away from home. Endo, Guirassy, ​​Fuhrich and Coulibaly scored for the visitors, while Ingvartsen opened the scoring for the defeated side.
