This Monday, May 22, 2023, France 2 concludes its broadcast of Bardot, a series of events dedicated to the youth of French cinema icon Brigitte Bardot, from 21:10. In this project, overseen by filmmakers Danielle and Christopher Thompson, it is the debut actress Julia de Nunes who plays the role of the famous actress.

As the directors explained, the main stakeholder supported the development of this fiction without wanting to be involved in it. In an interview with AlloCiné, Julia de Nunes commented on the decision, which she explained brilliantly.

Victor Belmondo, who plays Roger Vadim in the six-episode biopic, told AlloCiné:I think Brigitte Bardot is absolutely free. He honestly thinks what he wants and says what he wants. This is his freedom.
I wasn’t in the discussion at the beginning of the series, but Kristoff and Danielle told us she just gave the nod and didn’t want to know more. But he agreed!”
Despite this validation, Brigitte Bardot nevertheless subsequently dropped the project, announcing earlier in the year to the Sunday Paper: “I don’t even know about this stuff! But I don’t care: the only thing that matters is my real life in it. And not stupid biographies.“
