‘It Should Be Banned’: Since Irreversible, no movie has shocked the skin like this

At the Cannes Film Festival, there are often shocking films, works that shake the audience, cause controversy, in short, leave no one indifferent. There was Iréversible, The Brown Bunny, Mektoub My Love: Intermezzo and, most recently, Titane.

To say the Titan shocked at its Cannes launch in May 2021 is an understatement. Because Julia Ducournau’s extreme feature film literally shook the audience in attendance, as evidenced by our event’s theatrical release of the film, found in our player above. Between shocked onlookers and others who loved it, with the added bonus of firemen getting involved, the moment was truly special!
