Irresistible mini honey bread recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500 g of brown sugar
  • 2 cups of water (tea)
  • 4 1/2 cups flour (tea)
  • 2 tablespoons of chocolate powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup of milk (tea)
  • 1 cup of honey (tea)
  • 4 eggs (whites and yolks separated)
  • 1 kg of milk chocolate for dipping

ganache filling

  • 300 g of milk chocolate
  • 100 g of cream
  • 1 tablespoon of glucose

Method of preparation:

  1. In a saucepan, put the brown sugar with the water, mix and bring to the boil.
  2. After raising the boil, leave for about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and wait for it to cool.
  3. Meanwhile, combine the flour, chocolate powder, cloves and cinnamon in a bowl.
  4. Then mix the dry ingredients with the brown sugar syrup, a little at a time, alternating them with the milk and honey until you obtain a homogeneous mass.
  5. Add the yolks and mix.
  6. Then add the egg whites and mix gently so that the dough is homogeneous.
  7. Put the baking soda into the dough and mix.
  8. Place in a rectangular pan and place in a medium preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
  9. Melt the chocolate in the ganache, add the cream and glucose, put in the fridge to cool.
  10. Cut out circles of honey donuts and fill with the ganache.
  11. Pass in melted milk chocolate and put to dry on baking paper.
