Currently on Love, Fame and Beauty on TF1, the Forresters are all convinced that Finn (Tanner Nowlan) died tragically because of Sheila (Kimberlynn Brown), his biological mother. In fact, the young man is extremely saved by Lee (Naomi Matsuda), his adoptive mother! Most mysteriously, this is what happens to Steph’s (Jacqueline McInnes Wood) husband…
Finn is alive!
However, the latter doesn’t know that her dead husband is actually alive and well… Stef remains completely confused. Sheila, on the other hand, has just escaped from prison and breaks into Lee’s house… an out-of-control, psychopath (inspired by a great movie villain) only to discover that her son is dead through no fault of her own! How will they resolve the situation now?
When these episodes were broadcast in the United States on CBS a year ago, fans of Love, Fame and Beauty (which is exported to Europe) were unaware of the return of Tanner Nowlan to the series. Everyone was sure that the actor had left the series… including the other stars of the series! Thus, the hero’s miraculous resurrection was completely unexpected.
During the 2022 edition of the Monte Carlo Television Festival, AlloCiné was able to speak with Tanner Nowlan and Jacqueline McInnes Wood. Both are back with us on this huge plot twist.
What does the future hold for Finn and Steffy?
Then the main stakeholder explained to us:It was very difficult to keep a secret. I had to trust Brad BellOur head of writers throughout this whole process…told me, “We’ll get you back!” But I was worried because I hadn’t worked for a long time at that time (laughs)“
For her part, Jacqueline McInnes Wood revealed that she was shocked to learn of Finn’s fate: “I remember calling Tanner while reading the script. I was like “What?!” And I got angry! He kept a secret from me too! I wanted to kill him, in real life! (Laughs)”
Delighted to hear that his partner was returning to the cast of Love, Glory and Beauty, the actor confided: “Steph and Finn work very well together. They have a different energy than the Liam/Stiff couple. He experienced things with the latter, but they were very opposite.”
“Steffy and Finn understand each other very well and it’s easy. Most relationships would benefit from being this way rather than chaotic! (laughs)– concluded Jacqueline McInnes Wood. Words confirmed by Tanner Nowlan:Liam was Steph’s first love, but our characters’ relationship is more mature, if only because they are Hayes’ parents.“
When will lovers finally be reunited in love, glory and beauty? To be continued…
