Von der Leyen will be on tour with Stefano Bonaccini and Giorgia Meloni
The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will visit this Thursday (25) the Emilia-Romagna region, in Italy, which has been severely affected by bad weather.
The leader will fly over the areas flooded by the rains together with the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, and the governor of Emilia-Romagna, Stefano Bonaccini.
The helicopter in charge of the tour will take off from Bologna and pass through Cesena and Forlì. After investigating the situation in local towns, Von der Leyen will attend a press conference.
The premier, in turn, will return to the capital to participate in a Council of Ministers convened for the beginning of the evening in Italy. .
