Shooting of the serial comedy “Milya” has started

The creators of the original 8-episode comedy “Mila” announced the start of filming the project! The director and screenwriter was Oksana Mafagel, who worked on the acclaimed TV series “Drip” in the chair of a creative producer, and the co-author of the script was Elizaveta Varvara Aranova, with whom Mafagel had previously collaborated on the project “I don’t care who you are”.

Also participating in the new multi-part film from Okko, “Places of Power” and Originals Production will be Karina Zvereva, Elizaveta Kononova, Yasmina Osmirovich, Svetlana Sayagova, Kirill Snegirev, Konstantin Plotnikov, Vitaly Andreev and others.

This is a super kind comedy, very funny, with cool female characters, with a very avant-garde main character, with beautiful costumes and bright images. I specifically selected girls for the project team, because I think that this series should be filmed as a story about a woman, “not dirty”. Therefore, I have a cameraman – a girl, a production designer – a girl, a costume, makeup, an executive producer, a second director – in general, the whole team consists of women. That is, all technical support is from men, and all creative support is from women. And we will all try to make sure that the viewer, when watching this series, completely rested and laughed, – says Oksana Mafagel.

“Mile” is a topical story of re-education, told in a comedic way. The premiere date of the series will be announced later.
