Since arriving in Brazil in 2011, Netflix has had different plans and values. Now, with the end of account sharing on the streaming service, it has become even more urgent for you to check how much the subscription costs if you want to watch series and movies released by the platform.
How much does a Netflix subscription cost?
Currently, you can choose from four Netflix plans:
Basically only people who live with you can use your account. Thus, in the more expensive plans, the company allows you to add an extra subscriber for R$ 12.90 per month. In the “Standard” you can include 1 more person, while in the “Premium” up to 2 people.
Netflix Plans: What’s the Difference Between Them?
Not all Netflix plans are created equal. In addition to the price, they offer video quality from 720p to 4K+HDR (with access to Dolby Vision and HDR10), allow or not download to watch series and movies offline, the number of simultaneous screens enabled (from 1 to 4) and the quantity of additional subscribers available.
Consult the summary table with the characteristics of the plans:
Also, the “Standard with Ads” plan doesn’t have access to the entire catalog. According to Netflix, some movies and series are unavailable due to licensing issues.
Finally, it is important to know that the fact that the more expensive plans offer better video quality does not necessarily mean that you will watch movies and series with higher quality. It also depends on having a AND (in the case of Dolby Vision and HDR10 the minimum required speed is 15 MB).
