Investment in services has reached nearly BRL 20 billion in the first four months of the year, says the SP government


The increase in 2023 is due to IT investments within the state




Data from the São Paulo State Investment Survey – Piesp, by the Seade Foundation, underline that, between January and April 2023, investments were announced BRL 19.9 billion for the service sector in the state. In the same period of 2022 they were 9.63 billion.

The most recent data was released on Thursday the 25th.

The increase in 2023 is due to the investment in information technology within the state – more than a third of the amount (R$ 16.3 billion) was allocated to this sub-sector.

This is followed by real estate (R$ 9.1 billion), vehicle leasing (R$ 6.4 billion), health services (R$ 4.3 billion), housing (R$ 2.7 billion) and the financial intermediation (R$ 1.5 billion).
