Is Knights of the Zodiac better than Dragonball Evolution? Viewer reviews are down!

“I went to the cinema dreading seeing Dragonball Evolution bis. It’s not that bad after all”Damien Molm comments.

On the other hand, Flower0478 has “I found the original story, although I think it lacks something to make it more manga-like.”

“Knights of the Zodiac is a film that captivated me, a fan of the original work, thanks to its daring approach and risky commitment to the world created by Masami Kurumada.

The director took a risky step in adapting this famous animated franchise. He brilliantly succeeded in rewriting the essence of history and introduced a touch of modernity.Cedric Marin believes.

Kyu F also defends the adaptation of Polish Tomek Baginski: “Knights of the Zodiac is a movie that gets endless hate for simply wanting to be different. The special effects certainly don’t fit the movie well and there’s a soft underbelly in the middle, but we’re having a great time. Onward.”– says this viewer.

We are having a great time watching Les Chevaliers du Zodiaque.

Movie for Asclepios91 “A wonderful surprise. We can regret the CGI Netflix update to the narrative frame of the first arc of the terrible series, but it does wonders to improve it.

And then the authors realized that we can’t develop 4 heroes in 2 hours, so we focus on Seiya. The rendering of the physical armor is not as “skinny” as it is on my computer screen, and the rendering of space and special techniques is excellent.”

“Very good entertainment, I was expecting something like Dragonball Evolution and I was in for a great surprise. I would love to see a sequel,” Underline Jean-M.

If Knights of the Zodiac isn’t a declared disaster, and neither is the second Dragonball Evolution, some viewers really didn’t like it:

“This is extremely bad. Sony is signing the worst budget movie in a long time. Nobody believes in the movie and it shows.” – Jean-Bastien Leandre.

“This movie is premeditated murder in our childhood. Crazy special effects, bogus script that disrespects manga, B-series acting. Deserves to be prosecuted.” – Cool_92.

This movie is the premeditated murder of our childhood. Bad special effects, bogus script.

“It’s even worse than I imagined! It’s unbelievable that nothing is right! I went all the way. I’m sorry, but I couldn’t take it anymore! It was too much! A stratospheric nanar like few have seen in my life.” – H@n_Solo

“This thing has nothing to do with Knights of the Zodiac (Saint Seiya), no same armor, no same characters, no same story, bad music, actors with tons of charisma, special effects from another era, decent choreography. 80s action Z series, a disaster without the slightest respect for the original. – Leo Desi

While some reactions are very sharp, others are much more nuanced, as you can see on the viewer reviews page. It’s clear that the film isn’t going the way of Dragonball Evolution, which was unanimously criticized.

To remind you, Knights of the Zodiac follows Seiya, a teenager with a strong character. He is used to fighting to earn enough money to survive on the streets, searching for his kidnapped sister.

During the fight, he unwittingly unleashes mystical powers and finds himself in a world where he meets armored knights who derive their powers from ancient magical training and Athena, a reincarnated goddess who needs his protection.

If he wants to survive, he will have to sacrifice everything to take his rightful place among the Knights of the Zodiac.
