Young Mark (Jeremiah Meyers) is haunted by vague memories of his father, a whimsical man who is convinced he is being stalked by strange creatures from another world.
As a high school student, Mark tries to maintain a delicate balance in his daily life, where his passion for music, his dreams of freedom, but also his academic and social difficulties collide. His meeting with Becky (Lea Drinda), a new student like him, seems to be the key to new happiness.
But Mark’s fortunes change forever when his older brother Thomas (Theo Treebs) reveals that he suffers from the same psychosis as their father. And when Thomas mysteriously disappears, Mark realizes he has no choice but to go looking for him in a parallel world he never believed existed…
