The Witcher: Romance for Dandelion in Season 3?

Season 3 of The Witcher is almost here. On that note, showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hisrich and iconic Dandelion interpreter Joey Bate gave us some details on what we can expect from the new season.

In an interview with Netflix ahead of the Season 3 premiere (ComingSoon), Lauren Schmidt Hisrich Indeed said that Jasquier will “bloom” this season and that the youngster will fall in love with someone who fans know and who appears frequently in the books.

We made sure that these romances were told honestly – and with sensitivity and care, without resorting to stereotypes… I hope that we created something special, as sapioromantic and sapiosexual as any other relationship on this show.“

Of course, Jasquier will always have responsibilities, for which the character is not always created, as his interpreter says, but must learn to manage.

“He’s certainly a multi-talented man, but I’m not sure he’s essentially cut out to be a spy. Still, he found himself in a time of war, in turmoil, and trying his best to do something right.“

What we know about season 3

The first part of the third season Witcher, which will collect episodes one through five, will be released on Netflix on June 29. Meanwhile, the second installment, consisting of episodes six through eight, will debut on the platform about a month later, on July 27, 2023.

This season, the continent’s monarchs, mages and beasts fight to capture Ciri (Freya Allan), who was taken underground by Geralt (Henry Cavill), and tries to protect her newly reunited family from those who threaten to destroy it.
