In an unprecedented game this year, Santos tries to keep a 5-year taboo against Bragantino

Peixe is yet to play against his Sao Paulo opponent in 2023

Santos visits RB Bragantino this Sunday (28) and looks to maintain significant invincibility against opponent São Paulo. This will be the first time the teams have met in 2023, as just like last year, both were in the same group in Paulistão, and Peixe did not progress to the knockout stage of the state tournament.

Alvinegro has not been defeated by Massa Bruta for over five years. The last time the Bragança Paulista team managed to triumph over Santos was on January 22, 2018, for the Campeonato Paulista, 1-0.

At the time Bragantino didn’t even have the current partnership with Red Bull. Indeed, as a result, Santos have never lost against the team since the transformation into a club-society, made official in January 2020.
