Actress Jane Fonda has been chosen to present the top prize at the Cannes Film Festival
Jane Fonda had a peculiar moment in Cannes Film Festival last Saturday, the 27th. As pointed out by users on social networks and by Page Six (via Splash UOL), the actress threw a prize at the head of Justine Trietwinner of the Palme d’Or for Anatomy of a Fall.
Fonda was chosen to deliver the most important award of the ceremony. The actress announced the winning feature film and called Triet to the stage. After speaking, the filmmaker left the place without taking the Palme d’Or parchment.
jane tried to call her, but she was not heard. She then decided to launch the object towards Triet and ended up hitting the director’s head.

Triet returned to the stage and, alongside Fonda, greeted the audience once again. The actress received criticism for the alleged disregard for the award. Other users on the networks, however, claimed that it was a humorous moment.
