This Monday morning, around 6 am, a serious accident occurred at KM 19.5 of ERS 122, near the bridge that marks the border between São Sebastião do Caí and Bom Principle. The accident occurred between Vigia and Bela Vista.
According to information from the Caiense Volunteer Fire Brigade, a Mercedes Benz truck with Caxias do Sul license plate fell from a height of about 2 meters from the bridge, in the interior/capital direction. The 30 year old driver is stuck in the hardware. He was rescued in serious condition and transported to the Sagrada Familia hospital in Caí.
