Keep sensitive souls away!
After spending several months on their own in the middle of nowhere, Shauna, Tysa, Natalie, Misty, Lottie, Van and their friends must now survive as the winter gets colder and food becomes scarcer in the second season.
In a scene that will surely remain in the minds of its performers and viewers, the group decides to cremate the body of Jack, who died two months earlier. But when a huge pile of snow falls on the corpse, it slows the cremation and boils its flesh. Hungry adults awakened by the smell make short work of it…
The sequence is clearly unsettling for both the actors and the public. They trust the microphoneEntertainment Weekly : “It was a real shock to us when we arrived and saw Jack’s body on the pile of wood. Even though we were eating rice paper, the picture was amazing. What we were fighting about seemed so real that our brains were trying to figure it out and we were nodding off as soon as the scene was over. it was disgusting” says Sophie Nellis, who plays Shauna as a teenager.
Her co-star Jasmine Savoy Brown, Taisa’s translator, was also moved by the experience: “It was rice paper for the skin and jackfruit inside. The consistency was like meat. A few people vomited. And if you think that’s scary, it’s only episode two. “.
The one who still seems to have the worst experience of this scene is none other than Sammy Hanratt, who plays Misty: “I got shot on set. Twice. There are certain moments where you think ‘This is just fake…’ and then ‘Oh my God, but it’s Ella.’ “,” he told her entertainment tonight.
These declarations still make it possible to highlight the excellent work of the series teams, especially those responsible for accessories and effects, thanks to which the result on the screen could not be more disturbing. One thing is for sure: with a start like this, the new season of Yellowjackets still has big surprises and many twists for the viewers!
