We’ve had it in front of us for months.
First of all, we warn you that here you will find ‘SPOILERS’. If you are still not up to date with the series, it is better that you do not read any further.
As you well know by now that you have stayed up all night without thinking of anything else, ‘Succession’ ended four seasons of sibling rivalry with Tom Wambsgans assuming the role of CEO and leaving the Roy brothers with nothing but their millions (which… yeah, doesn’t sound too bad). Tom got the job thanks to Shiv turning on Kendall and voting ‘no’ for him to assume the role of CEO, a move that technically loses the family control of the company, but allows Shiv continue to pull the strings from the shadows.
Now that we know how the series ends, fans can’t stop looking for Easter eggs that reveal the ending of the plot, including a huge one that stared us in the face all season. Check out Shiv’s season 4 character poster, which literally shows her standing behind Tom.

How did we not notice before?
FYI, ‘Succession’ creator Jesse Armstrong opened up about Shiv’s fate a few weeks ago, revealing, “Shiv is still in a pretty scary, icy place. But she’s got this kind of ‘no-win,’ ‘no ‘defeat’. I mean, there’s going to be some movement there. There’s still a lot of that game to play, but that’s where we left it. And it looks like they’re going to have a hard time moving forward emotionally, given the things they’ve said about each other.” .
He also noted that “I thought about all of their stories,” adding, “You know, it’s not the end. They’ll continue. But it’s kind of where this show loses interest in them because they’ve lost what they wanted, which was to be successful, that, You know, it was the prize that their father offered them.”
