Without Schwarzenegger, The Expendables 4 features the return of Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren
Action franchise responsible for bringing together veteran stars of hollywood, You mercenaries counted on Arnold Schwarzenegger in the first three films, but the legendary actor is not in the cast of The Expendables 4which opens in theaters in October 2023.
In the franchise, Schwarzenegger interprets Trench Mauser and ended fans’ hopes to see him in the fourth chapter starring Sylvester Stallone (Barney Ross). “It’s over and I’m not in it. I said ‘You know what, we did this and I’m out’ And Sly [Stallone] really understood,” said the actor during an interview with parade.
At another point in the conversation, Schwarzenegger reminisced about his entry into You mercenaries: “I did [os primeiros] as a favor to Sly. I filmed one Saturday for two hours in a church with Bruce Willis. Sly said, ‘Oh, you can do The expendables 2?’ and I did it for a weekend.”
