Pickled garlic in olive oil

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of white vinegar
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of tea water
  • 3 and 1/2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of salt
  • oregano to taste
  • 5 bay leaves
  • 3 cups of garlic tea
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil

Method of preparation:

  1. Put the vinegar, water, sugar, salt, oregano, pepper, bay leaf in a pan and mix well.
  2. Bring to a boil over high heat until bubbly.
  3. Add the peeled garlic and cook for three minutes.
  4. Turn off the heat and put the garlic with the liquid in sterilized glass jars.
  5. Then add a drizzle of olive oil, cover and turn the jars upside down until they cool.
  6. Leave out of the fridge for five days before enjoying.
