Grey’s Anatomy: 13 years after she left, Katherine Heigl finds Ellen Pompeo

Good news for Grey’s Anatomy fans! Almost 13 years after her departure from the medical series, Katherine Heigl and Ellen Pompeo are about to find themselves. Let’s remind, in 2010, the translator of Izzy Stevens hastily left the series after 6 seasons.

He said at the time that this departure was related to family reasons, the actor recently adopted a little girl with his wife. Since then, many rumors have claimed that there was actually strong tension between Katherine Heigl and Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhime.

The actor complained about the shooting conditions and the atmosphere behind the scenes. And it was not the critical comments that Katherine Heigl made against the medical series that made it possible to improve the situation.

Years after that departure, Izzy and Meredith finally meet again…but not on Grey’s Anatomy. The two actors, who have now both left the medical series, have been selected to participate in the new season of Variety’s Actors on Actors, a series of interviews in which the two actors reflect on their careers but also their personal lives.

The show, which promises to be bright for Grey’s Anatomy fans, as Katherine Heigl and Ellen Pompeo are expected to return to their experience on the medical series.

Because if the two actresses stay on good terms, there is a chance that controversial topics will be discussed. Are they discussing the Emmy nomination that Katherine Heigl turned down because she didn’t think she deserved it?
