Eddie is Vanessa’s accomplice and lover.

The prison officer who assaulted Vanessa during the transfer is not in danger. Aaron confides in Avore and Sara that the serial killer gave him a basic anesthetic, he thinks he got it while he was in the hospital. The two policemen then visit the prison officer, who immediately asks them about Eddie, his colleague who was driving the van. Sarah explains to him that the police have nothing on him. The agent hears that Aurora and Sarah suspect Eddie of being Vanessa’s accomplice, but he refuses to believe it. He has been working with him for ten years, it is not like such a gesture.
