Walker Texas Ranger: These stars appeared in the series and you forgot about them

Did Walker, Trivet and Alex mark your childhood thanks to multiple episodes of Walker Texas Ranger on TF1? Devour the episodes every Sunday afternoon? You may still have forgotten some of the stars who have passed on the CBS-produced show.

Guest #1: Mila Kunis

Needy students should go to summer camp. During the trip, one of them steals a briefcase full of dollars that belonged to drug dealers, who then set out to find them. Walker and Alex will accompany the children and will have to protect them. Mila Kunis, 14 years old when the episode aired (S05E15), is one of the students in the group.

anecdote: The episode is co-written by Paul Haggis, who also directs. During Walker’s time, he had already made a feature film called Red Hot (1993). Coincidence: Haggis turns Mila Kunis into a puzzle with Liam Neeson, Adrien Brody and Olivia Wilde.

Guest #2: Bryan Cranston

Bryan Cranston filmed many series before becoming one of the stars of Malcolm and then Breaking Bad. He notably had a (somewhat) recurring role on Seinfeld and appeared in an episode of Walker Texas Ranger. We can see him in S02E18 as Hank Mize, the manager of a certain Meredith, a medium who helps find a missing child.

It ends badly as Trivett and Meredith are found murdered.

anecdote: Dean Norris, who plays Hank Schrader in Breaking Bad, also appeared in S07E04, in which he plays the head of security at a Cherokee plant suspected of dumping toxic products into Indian reservation waters.

Guest #3: Jeffrey Dean Morgan

In 2000, 16 years before his first appearance on The Walking Dead, actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan appeared in the Walker episode S09E09. He plays the leader of a gang of crooks who commit a heist that goes wrong. A young father who witnessed the event, who was protecting the thieves, ran away. He is killed, but his wife and child, who know the whole affair, find refuge with the Rangers. But since then their lives are in danger.

Of course, the outlaws end very badly and Dean Morgan’s character Alex gets shoveled and then shoots Walker after he jumps out the window!

The actor would continue his violent roles on TV, becoming the fearsome Negan on The Walking Dead for five full seasons.
