Tuesday June 6th at Un Si Grand Soleil…

Johanna and Ian unknowingly find themselves on the same job

Becker summons Ian and explains that a fraud complaint has been filed by a young graphic designer against Delarive, a large design agency in Montpellier. A young woman, Ocean, believes that Delarive stole her lamp project, which then ended up in a large chain of furniture stores and sold more than a million copies. Becker informs his lieutenant that the prosecutor has already started an investigation. So he asks Ian if it’s worth investigating.

Meanwhile, Claudine receives Alexander Delarive in her office, who swears that in 15 years his agency has never been accused of forgery. He specifies that he is not familiar with this ocean. He just knows it comes from a design school and claims he mailed them sketches of the lamp. Sketches, which, according to the owner of the agency, he has never seen in his life. Claudine agrees to protect Delarive. He tells Alexander that he will return to him after making contact with the opposing party.

Johanna and Florent arrive at the firm and find the firm’s new sign with the 3 letters of the agency BGL. Claudine joins them smiling and asks if they like it. He explains that he followed the logic of alphabetical order, hence the first was his starting point. Johanna is angry, but takes it upon herself.

After a while, Johanna finds Florent in the meeting room. The two lawyers have the feeling that Master Baker is openly mocking them. But Florenti reminds Johanna that Claudine is the majority shareholder and that without her they would have already folded in the store. Their conversation is interrupted by the arrival of Claudine, who gives them business cards with the new logo all smiles. As Claudine leaves, Johanna tells Florent that she feels like killing herself.

Claudine is on the phone with Serge Levars, who represents the ocean. Levars is formal: the two lamps are identical. In bad faith, Claudine replies that it takes more than a look to prove it. Levars offers Claudine a friendly settlement: his client is willing to drop his claim for moral damages if Delarive admits to forgery and returns to him 2/3 of the royalties generated after the sale of the lamp. Claudine burst out laughing.

Later, Alexandre Delarive calls Claudine to inform her that he has been summoned to the police station following a complaint filed against her department. Claudine reassures him: she will be there to help him. He then asks who is in charge of the case and learns that it is Ian Cross. Claudine smiles and listens.

Then Claudine comes to see Johanna and offers her cooperation in this new business. Johanna is surprised that she is interested in this type of file. Claudine replies that Alexandre Delarive is a major client in the region’s cultural industry circles, something the firm would do well to tap into, she says.

To reassure Johanna, Claudine admits to her that she was thinking about him, knowing that he is brilliant in international law. Johanna thanks him and agrees to cooperate, although she is clearly uncomfortable. Claudine is careful not to tell her that Ian is leading the investigation.

Evan leaves the hospital and Janet is about to punish Lauryn

Mark walks down the street, lost his sight. He blames the hit-and-run for ending his relationship with Chloe. Louis tries to cheer her up and offers to join her after class. Mark thanks his son, but realizes that he wants to be left alone.

The prosecutor informs Cecile that they have found the gun that was used to try to kill Chloe with Pierre Andre. Now they have all the evidence necessary to remand him. Cecil is still confused about that email. About mail sent from the hospital. Since Andre discovered Chloe’s identity when her name was leaked on social media, she cannot be the source of the email. The prosecutor reminds that such action is not punishable by law, they can do nothing more. The main thing for him is to stop the aggressor.

Robin gets a call from her mother. She tells him that Evan is leaving the hospital today. Mother and daughter are both eager to meet all three at home tonight.

At Cecil’s office, Chloe thanks her boss for his support. Cecil asks him for news about Evan. Chloe replies that she is doing much better and is getting out of the hospital today. Cecil is excited to hear this. She then asks Chloe where she is with Mark. The clerk replies that he told her it was over between them. It wasn’t easy, but he had to make a choice. She adds that when she thought she lost Evan, she realized she loved him. She now knows she wants to save her marriage and will do anything to get there.

Later, Evan leaves the hospital in front of Lauryn. Janet wishes him a speedy recovery and hopes to be fit and ready within 15 days. Evan is confident that his recovery will go well. After all, he is well surrounded, he is lucky. Lorin looks at him annoyed.

In the evening, Chloe, Evan and Robin are at the apartment. Robin points out to her father that he is doing well: he avoids all household chores. Everyone jokes, it’s a good atmosphere. Chloe watches her son and husband. Did he make the right choice?

Meanwhile, Janet and Becker are having dinner at a restaurant. Janet asks her companion for information about Lauryn in a case involving Evan and Chloe. She admits that she found out that it was Lauryn who would send an email to Evan denouncing Chloe’s infidelity. Becker admits they have their suspicions, but Lauryn hasn’t done anything wrong. There is no defamation. And according to the commissioner, Lorin did not know the extent of his actions.

Janet, annoyed, thinks it’s too easy. If he can’t do anything, on the other hand, he doesn’t want to let it go. She reminds her companion that Lauryn used her position as a hospital waitress and doctor to settle a personal matter in her department. To keep the peace at the hospital, Janet plans to punish Lauryn for her schemes.
