In just 10 days, “The Little Mermaid” has already earned a worldwide box office of $326,707,067 in theaters. According to the specialized website mojo at the box officethe film reached the second place in terms of receipts in the United States in May – despite only being released at the end of the month -, behind only “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”.
In June, the film followed in a vice in the accounts in the early days. This time, due to the premiere of the animation “Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse”.
With the success of Halle Bailey’s Ariel, anticipation is only mounting as to when Disney’s new live-action hits streaming.
