Oppenheimer: What’s the longest running Christopher Nolan action film?

Christopher Nolan has just confirmed the length of his next film, Oppenheimer. The feature film, which tells the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the physicist whose work led to the creation of the atomic bomb during World War II, will run for exactly 3 hours and 9 seconds.

The director made the announcement during a TikTok video where he presents an IMAX 70mm copy of Oppenheimer. Therefore, it is the filmmaker’s longest film, but already used more than 2:30 works, as Interstellar lasted 2h49, The Dark Knight posted 2h32 and Tenet kept us in suspense for 2h30.
