Captain America 4 gets a new title; I wait

Marvel Studios announced this Tuesday (6) a new title for Captain America 4. The film, formerly titled as New world order (New World Order, in free translation), now it will be called Captain America: Brave New World (Admirable New World). The reason for the move was not disclosed.

The new title came with an image of Harrison Ford, who will play General Thunderbolt Ross in the sequel, and Anthony Mackie, Falcon/Sam Wilson, on set filming. It is worth mentioning that Ford takes over from William Hurt, who died in March last year – the actor played the character in The Incredible Hulk, Captain America Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War AND Black Widow.

Wonderful new world it will be the fourth film dedicated to the hero and the first of Sam Wilson as Captain America. In addition to Ford, Tim Blake Nelson (The Leader) and Liv Tyler (Betty Ross) return to the cast.

Captain America 4 previews scheduled for May 3, 2024. Previous films are still available on Disney+.

Captain America 4: what we know so far

Starring Mackie, the film is the actor’s debut as new Captain America after the events of Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The production is directed by Julius Onah, who works for the first time in the franchise.

The plot of the sequel follows in secret, but Onah has already said that the feature film will be like a “paranoid thriller”. If the film follows the references of The Winter Soldiershould also draw inspiration from the political espionage thrillers of the 70s.

There are no official trailers yet for the fourth film, which is in production as of 2021.
