Netflix: This beloved adult animated series is finally back on the platform!

For once out of the ordinary, it’s good for adults who will enjoy this cartoon’s big return to Netflix! The platform will present this Saturday, June 10, the sixth season of Rick and Morty, which previously aired on Adult Swim France.

The series follows the adventures of mad scientist and alcoholic Rick Sanchez and his scared and naive grandson, Morty Smith. Across universes and parallel dimensions, the latter have strange encounters, including alternate versions of themselves.

An irreverent parody of the greatest pop-culture classics (the characters are also inspired by Marty and Doc, in a chapter in the future), Rick and Morty is an animated series for adults, both in its many sharp references, as well as vulgar and sometimes graphically violent. content.

In recent months, the series has been in the media for the firing of its co-creator – as well as two of the original version’s title characters – Justin Roiland, amid allegations of domestic violence. The latter was eventually released due to lack of sufficient evidence.

Justin Roiland’s withdrawal will not affect the future of the series, which has already been renewed for several additional seasons. The producer will soon appoint a new dubbing actor to provide the voices of Rick and Morty in the original version (although the VF should not be changed).

Six seasons of Rick and Morty can now be seen on Netflix, but also on Adult Swim on Warner Pass, available on the Amazon Prime Video platform.
