Six people of the gladiator 2 were injured after an accident on set last Wednesday (7), as reported by Variety. According to the gringo portal, the case occurred while filming a stunt sequence that resulted in burns, requiring immediate assistance.
While filming a planned stunt sequence on the set of the Gladiator sequel, an accident occurred in which several crew members sustained non-life threatening injuries. The security teams and medical assistance on site were able to act quickly so that those affected immediately received the necessary treatment. All are in stable condition and continue to receive treatment.

Announced a few years ago, gladiator 2 officially received a premiere date in February of this year. Directed again by Ridley Scott, the sequel to one of the most successful action films of the 2000s hits theaters on November 22, 2024.

The plot of the new production takes place 25 years after the events of the first film, which starred Maximus (Russell Crowe) as the Roman general who went on to become one of Rome’s strongest and most skilled gladiators. Now, the film will focus on Lucius (Spencer Treat Clark), son of Lucilla (Connie Nielsen) and nephew of Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix).
As production progresses, the film is assembling a cast that promises to make waves in Hollywood. The acting team already includes Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Denzel Washington, Barry Keoghan, Joseph Quinn and the returning Connie Nielsen.
Gladiator is considered a blockbuster, grossing over $460 million at the global box office. It was nominated for 12 Academy Awards, winning five, including Best Picture. The production also earned Crowe an Academy Award for Best Actor.
